 Ally Mbarak Nahdi
is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Sootex Resources Company, bringing over 30 years of diverse experience across the mining, transportation, logistics, energy, agriculture, and business management sectors. His deep expertise in business strategy, finance, and mining is further enriched by his roles as a partner in Lindi Jumbo Ltd, focusing on graphite in Southern Tanzania (Lindi – Ruangwa), and Adavale Resources Ltd, which is engaged in nickel mining in Northern Tanzania, near Kabanga Nickel.

Under Ally’s visionary leadership, Sootex Resources Company has secured licenses for graphite, nickel, gold, heavy minerals (HM), and manganese. Additionally, he has obtained mining concessions for coal, gold, tin, HM and manganese,. His oversight extends to active mining operations, including iolite in Morogoro, white and black moonstone in Morogoro, and sunstone in Arusha.

With over 15 years of direct experience in the mining sector and a robust background in transportation and logistics, Ally has established a strong track record of leadership and entrepreneurship. He has founded and led multiple successful ventures and continues to hold key positions in various enterprises.

Ally has represented Sootex Resources and his other business interests at numerous local and international exhibitions and conferences. He has also been an active business delegate in several overseas missions organized by the Government of Tanzania.

In addition to his role at Sootex Resources, Ally holds senior positions in several other companies:

  • Managing Director and Shareholder of Afritrans Limited, a logistics company.
  • Director and Shareholder of Eco Africa Solutions Limited, a gas distribution company.
  • Director and Shareholder of Kidodi Sugar Company Limited, a sugarcane production company.
  • Director and Shareholder of Jambo Agri Ltd.
